Frequently Asked Questions

We know restoration projects often come with a lot of uncertainty. Here are answers to some of the most common questions we hear from Colorado homeowners and business owners.

It depends on the type of damage, how much of your home is affected, and whether insurance is involved. We provide a free assessment so you know what you’re dealing with before making any decisions. Most homeowners pay only their deductible when insurance covers the work.

Not always. Filing a claim goes on your CLUE report for seven years and can affect your rates or renewal. If the damage is close to your deductible, it may not be worth filing. We’ll look at your situation and give you an honest recommendation before you make that call.

Restoration is the umbrella term for everything we do to put a home back together after a loss. Inside Restoration are two distinct phases: mitigation (emergency response: stopping damage, extracting water, drying, containment) and reconstruction (the rebuild: drywall, flooring, cabinets, paint). Most companies do one phase and hand off the other. We handle the full restoration in-house, which means no handoff between contractors, no scheduling gaps, and no finger-pointing if something gets missed.

If the affected area is small (for example, a single room of surface water you can dry in a day), you may be able to handle it. Once water gets behind walls, under flooring, or into structural framing, professional equipment and monitoring are what prevent bigger problems later. If you’re not sure, we’re happy to provide more information with a quick phone call and some pictures.

The whole project. Emergency response, mitigation, drying, reconstruction, and roofing if a storm caused the damage. One company, one point of contact, start to finish. That’s not common in this industry, and it’s one of the main reasons insurance agents refer their clients to us.

In most cases, we can arrive within 90 minutes anywhere across the Colorado Front Range, from Colorado Springs to Denver to Fort Collins and anywhere in between. Response times may vary depending on location and weather.
